At Casa Pina our clients are the priority

Casa Pina was created in 2022 with the aim of providing national and international tourism the experience of staying in the city center of Oaxaca. At Casa Pina, guests feel the warmth of a traditional Oaxacan home, decorated with elements typical of the ethnic diversity of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca.

A cozy, warm and well-illuminated house in the historic center of Oaxaca, the house has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, private patio, parking and access to everything Oaxaca has to offer.

The name Casa Pina was born to commemorate CRISPINA HERNANDEZ ROMERO (Doña Pina)(Naan Pienn), an extraordinary woman, loving mother and entrepreneur. Mezcal woman rooted in her customs and traditions, an important pillar for the Cortés family from which the reason for exalting mezcal and its culture emerges.

Four important words are taken for the essence that Casa Pina marks.

The word “Dixeebe” is a word of maximum respect offered by the Zapotec peoples to their fellow people, as a sign of respect, gratitude, and joy.

“A Sacrament” was a word that represented for her the unconditional love of  sharing, from the bottom of her heart, a piece of bread to her fellow people.

“The Blessing” with the sign of the cross that stemmed from her heart, this represents care and protection for your people wherever they go.

“Ritual”, with devotion and faith, Doña Pina practiced these old customs for health, harmony and peace.
